Tomorrow, June 7th- PJ's and Board Games!

Tomorrow is PJ Day and Board Game Day, so please have your child wear PJ's (if they want) and bring their favorite school appropriate board game to play in the afternoon. :)

Tomorrow, June 3rd: Movie + Popcorn Day

Tomorrow is Movie and Popcorn Day! After lunch, we will be watching Desperaux, a novel that our class has been reading the last couple weeks. I will provide popcorn, but if your child would like to bring in popcorn or something to drink, they can. I will be "selling" snacks, so they can use their tickets they have earned this year to buy a treat. They can wear their regular clothes, as PJ and Board Game day isn't until next week on June 7th. :)

*Disclaimer: If they don't have tickets, they will still get a treat! 

Homework 5-31- THE END OF THE YEAR! :)

Happy Tuesday! We are coming into the last few days of school! I can't believe it! I am so proud of each and every one of my students. The homework for the rest of the year will include reading nightly. I would definitely recommend going on Dreambox and practicing math facts nightly, but reading is top priority!

Report cards will go home on the last day of school, June 8th. Inside the envelope, I will enclose login information for both Raz-Kids and Dreambox so that your child can practice over the break. I highly recommend having them consistently login over summer to keep their skills sharp! :)

Tomorrow is our field day, so please see my note that went home last week to ensure that your child is ready and dressed accordingly. If you are interested in helping out by bringing Big Stick Popsicles, please let me know so that I know how many I need to purchase myself. If you are able to donate popsicles, please send them to school with your child tomorrow. Lastly, your child may bring a towel for tomorrow. They will not be getting wet, but then they can use it to take a seat on the field if they would like. If you have any questions, please let me know!

It's that time again! We have a math test this week, so I made a practice test for students to complete for homework to help them prepare. We will review it together as a class tomorrow, and then take the test Friday when we have the Chromebooks.

We are approaching the end of the school year! We have a couple things planned and one of them is a Third Grade Field Day. We will have field games from 8am-11am on Wednesday, June 1st. 

I would love to have 1-2 volunteers to help carry out some of the games, so if you are interested in helping, please just text me on the Remind App. I will take the first two that respond. I am only taking 2 because we will be out on the field with the other 3rd grade classes and I want to give the parents in those classes a chance  to volunteer, as well. I haven't decided what our "station" will be, but I will think of something fun. More info to come!
