Your child came home today with a letter stapled to a 3x5 card. The 3x5 card contains your child's username and password to access the website, so please keep this 3x5 card in a safe place. There is a copy of the letter below. This letter is from Dreambox, a mathematical program designed to provide students with a fun way to practice their math skills. The program is leveled, so it will adjust to your child's needs and become increasingly more difficult as they master concepts. The program is designed to "fill the gaps" in your child's math, while encouraging them to expand their current math knowledge. We tried it in class today and the students were very engaged, so I hope they enjoy using it at home.
Text me on Remind if you have any problems with their login. Keep in mind it is case sensitive, so make sure everything is in lowercase letters. Also, please keep in mind that you cannot simply do a google search for "dreambox". It will not allow you to login. You must type in the url below to access the site. I have also posted the url on the website in the upper right hand corner under "academic resources". :)
Lastly, it was a pleasure seeing many of you at the Book Fair today! I hope your child found some gems. In case your child was not able to purchase anything today, the Book Fair will be open all week and students can go during lunch and/or after school with a parent.
